Sharon Hayton is a therapist with over 10 years experience in bodywork, a BSc(Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science and is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.The carefully-chosen range of therapies in which she has trained (see the 'Your Options' page for more information) allow her to combine her skills and knowledge to provide the most effective outcome for each individual client.

 

At a time when so many people are turning to complementary therapies and the numbers of therapists are increasing, this fully individualised approach is unusual but the results speak volumes for its effectiveness.

 

Aside from work, Sharon's personal interests have included many sports, such as athletics, running, racquet sports, horse riding, Latin American dance , sport fighting, weight training and snow sports (phew!) She has also trained to coach/instruct in several sports, including horse-riding and dry slope skiing. In addition, as a singer and multi-instrumentalist, she is uniquely placed to offer a range of therapeutic solutions for the muscular strains experienced by musicians of all standards (see 'For Musicians' for details).
 

 

 

 

 

Steve is qualified in Thermo Auricular Therapy / Hopi ear candling and is currently increasing his knowledge and experience through training and helping out at Joined-Up Therapies.His background is in support and education and he has spent several years working at Headingly Stadium, in a sport-based education project. Although his training is ongoing, it is likely that he will move into a role as a qualified therapist within Joined-Up Therapies, so watch this space!
